The IJIS Institute’s National Symposium from February 6-9, 2018, is the only event focused on information sharing & safeguarding (IS&S) for justice, public safety, and homeland security. National priority initiatives benefiting all levels of government are highlighted at the event. It brings together industry, nonprofit, academia, and government leaders to network and collaborate in a neutral, non-sales environment. The National Symposium offers the unique opportunity to hear first-hand from state and local government officials and Federal government leaders.

Media/Press Attendance

The objective of the IJIS Institute events are to provide collaborative forums where government and industry executives may engage in a frank and candid exchange on issues of topical importance to the justice, public safety, and homeland security IT community. Reporters and attendees are asked to not attribute any statement to any individual speaker or participants in any recordings, documentation, or social media for dissemination beyond the session without the associated speaker's permission. If the participant does not consent, we ask all reporters and attendees to honor a non-attribution policy to preserve the events as open forums for meaningful exchanges between government and industry. Media outlets are granted one complimentary conference registration per publication genre. Refund Policy for IJIS Events

  • Cancellations must be sent in writing to pamela.thomas@ijis.org.

  • Cancellations received 30 days or more before the opening of an event, will be issued a refund less a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations received less than 30 days before the opening of an event, are not entitled to a refund.
