There are many opportunities for Members and Associates of the IJIS Institute to get involved in the work of information sharing and safeguarding. Each opportunity helps Members and Associates further the mission of the IJIS Institute, expand their networks, and enhance their professional development.
The IJIS Institute provides company-neutral expertise through the use of volunteers that serve on committees, task forces, and other types of working teams. Volunteers are solicited through this opportunities page and detailed requirements and instructions for responses are found within the opportunity documentation.
The IJIS Institute also procures and manages paid resources from its Member companies through calls for consultants in projects involving short-term consultative and technology assistance engagements, and through Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for projects involving training administration, course material development, or project task orders. Consultant and contractor selections are made by IJIS Institute staff after evaluating responses against pre-defined criteria. Consultants are paid the government rate of $450/day and contractors are paid their standard government labor rates; both receive reimbursement for approved travel costs as allowable by the individual effort.
In addition to these IJIS Institute opportunities, and as a service to state and local governments and our Members, the IJIS Institute posts Requests for Information (RFI) and RFPs and other opportunities as requested.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking qualified individuals to participate in the IJIS Institute’s Training Program. This program is funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs (OJP) of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This RFP outlines the requirements and qualifications for the specified upcoming training engagement that will result in the delivery of the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Technical Training curriculum on January 24-26, 2017 in Dover, Delaware. The IJIS Institute encourages all member firms that possess the requisite skill sets and experience to submit a response.
