I am excited about the progress that information sharing has made, and the evolution of information sharing initiatives as the future unfolds. The IJIS Institute represents a truly phenomenal group of people – all of whom possess an understanding that public safety, justice, and homeland security information sharing is a national imperative, and that a public/private partnership is the most effective way to address this critical issue.

Because of this progress, and the great wisdom and dedication I see in the IJIS Institute Members and partners, my passion for advocating information sharing and its benefits never quiets. The IJIS Institute web site is an outstanding framework for holding and organizing this vast array of wisdom, collaborative effort, and stories about the information sharing mission-critical benefits that justice, public safety, and homeland security agencies are realizing every day.
