Membership
The IJIS Institute welcomes as its members all companies who provide solutions (services or products) to the justice, public safety, and homeland security communities. As a member of the IJIS Institute you will have the opportunity to participate in helping these stakeholder communities facilitate mission-critical information sharing. Members who join are making a statement – their companies are leaders and innovators in information technology, and are interested in promoting more effective information sharing while participating in national efforts to improve the quality of information technology for justice, public safety, and homeland security.
Members
Member companies pay dues and are eligible to serve on all committees. Member companies also receive the privilege of first choice to participate in IJIS Institute committees and opportunities such as Technology Assistance (TA) and training engagements. The continued annual financial support of our Member companies helps the Institute continue its work, and, as a Member, you are an “active participant” and a part of the solution to improving national information sharing.
Annual dues are based on the Member company's overall gross annual income:
| Gross Annual Revenue | Annual Dues |
|---|---|
| $0 - $399,999 | $500 |
| $400,000 - $999,999 | $1,250 |
| $1,000,000 - $4,999,999 | $2,000 |
| $5,000,000 - $19,999,999 | $2,750 |
| $20,000,000 - $99,999,999 | $3,500 |
| $100,000,000 or more | $5,000 |
Affiliates
Affiliate companies pay no dues and also may serve on project or advisory committees and participate in the work of the Institute, although preference for such opportunities is given to Member companies.
Affiliate status is limited to a one-time, 12 consecutive month term.
Although Affiliates pay no annual dues, we do request a voluntary, tax-deductible donation to help defray our administrative costs. The amount of this annual donation does not affect the approval or status of an Affiliate’s membership with the IJIS Institute.
Sustaining Members
The Sustaining Member membership category is for those companies who are seriously and deeply committed to helping improve national security and promoting effective information sharing across all levels of the justice, public safety, and homeland security communities. The annual cost for Sustaining Membership is $18,000. Existing Member companies who upgrade to a Sustaining Membership receive credit for the number of months remaining on existing membership.
