Event Management

The IJIS Institute can provide a full complement of conference planning and management services for training events, large conferences, or small group meetings. We provide complete turnkey services for all levels of government.

Whether we manage complete projects or work cooperatively with other organizations, our flexible approach to working with government agencies allows us to tailor an event to your specific needs. Our methodology-driven approach to event planning and management allows us to deliver superior results that build upon past successes.

Event Management Activities

Our event management services include:

  • Site Selection
    We will handle site selection for your event based on your location needs, negotiate the most cost-effective terms, and provide room block management.
  • Speaker and Content Management
    We will work with you to develop a targeted agenda, solicit speakers, and coordinate the content which is the nucleus of educational events.
  • Logistics Management
    We will handle all aspects of the event logistics such as audio/visual and production management, collateral management and marketing, food and beverage planning, and general session management.
  • Industry Sponsorship
    We will recruit and manage industry sponsors from our membership to help defray the cost of your conference.
  • Industry Exhibit Areas
    Exhibit areas are frequently part of an industry sponsorship package. Should that be the case for a particular event, we will manage the exhibit area and plan for exhibitor services.
  • Marketing and Communications
    We will work to implement a comprehensive marketing plan to drive event participation. A coordinated plan is essential to maximizing participation of attendees, exhibitors, partners, and sponsors. We will develop tailored messages to specific audiences to maximize attendance at the event.
  • Registration Management
    Our registration staff will serve as the front lines for the event attendees. From participating in the development of registration forms, to pre-registration support, to onsite management, to stuffing welcome packets, our registration team will make the registration process as easy and painless as possible.
