Matthew A. D'AlessandroMatthew D'Alessandro has been involved in the justice and public safety field for nearly thirty years. He has sought and been given increasingly responsible positions over the course of his career including various management positions in Fortune rated corporations. Over the last decade his focus has primarily been centered on the management of programs related to improving corporate solutions related to information sharing and justice and public safety tactical applications and networks. He is also involved in the support of national standards and programs via his work with national organizations involved in these efforts.

Matt's career has included a variety of roles including; CAD, RMS, Prosecutor, Courts, Probation and Corrections software designer, development manager, installer and trainer. He has also functioned as an information sharing; consultant, strategic planner, specification designer, and implementation and development manager. Matt's work in these diverse roles over his career has given him a valuable background in not just how all agencies in justice and public safety operate but in creating and implementing the technology and solutions they use every day to perform their duties.

Mr. D'Alessandro is a long time member of the IJIS Institute where he serves as President of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Emerging Technologies Committee and moderates the Emerging Technology Webinars. He represents industry on the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Advisory Committee and is a member of a U.S. Department of Justice, Global Advisory Committee (GAC) Working Group. He is also a member of the National Association of State CIO's (NASCIO) Enterprise Architecture Committee.

Mr. D'Alessandro holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Court Systems Management from the State University of New York at Albany. He currently holds a position as Senior Business Development Manager in Motorola Solutions Integrated Command and Control (ICC) division.
