      The purpose of this RFP is to develop a web-based analytics dashboard that will allow users to visualize and interact with national crime incident data compiled in the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). The incident mapping and analytics platform will serve two purposes. First, it will facilitate the ability of law enforcement agencies to understand their crime patterns and trends in the context of crime in nearby and other similar jurisdictions. The inclusion of ancillary datasets, such as US Census demographic data, will allow for a more contextualized understanding of crime and socioeconomic characteristics on a micro-spatial level.
