Information sharing in justice, public safety, and homeland security organizations is mission critical. Advancing information sharing goals requires a proven approach to help industry, government, and practitioners apply open standards, and a process and technical framework to test and certify their use. The Springboard Certification and Testing Program (Springboard) is here to meet that need.
This webinar will provide you with the basics on Springboard and its new cyber security offering, Cyber Standards Check.
Springboard is a Consensus Standards Testing Cooperative managed by the IJIS Institute. Springboard provides a certification and testing program designed to advance information sharing within and across stakeholder jurisdictions and professions by working with sponsor organizations to evaluate, test, and certify information sharing and interoperability solutions.Springboard is not another Standards Development Organization (SDO) – IJIS works with existing SDOs, government organizations, and de-facto standards groups to enable industry to implement and test standards-based solutions by leveraging process and technology assets.
The webinar will also cover Springboard’s exciting new offering - Cyber Standards Check – a simple, secure, and affordable application security standard testing tool to help protect your applications. How can resource-constrained public-sector agencies meet or exceed complex, open source application security guidelines? Learn about how Cyber Standards Check breaks the commercial pricing chain and automates testing of NIST SP 800-53 and Open Web Application Security Project software vulnerability controls, removing any guesswork or human error.
This webinar will be led by Springboard and Cyber Standards Check specialists from the IJIS Institute. The webinar will include lots of valuable information on Springboard and even include a demonstration of Cyber Standards Check.
